About Brian Skol
Born in Chicago, Brian Skol received eleven years of continuous education in both a classical and an academic setting at: Rockvalley College, Rockford College, The American Academy of Art, the School of Representational Art, The Palette and Chisel, and The Ravenswood Atelier. He’s been highlighted as a finalist for the Art Renewal Center, and has shown with galleries in Chicago, and recently the L.A. Art Show. He believes that an artist should be equipped with a well-rounded education in order to be able to adapt to the various challenges that come from painting. He now works as a full-time painter with his primary focus being on narrative and history painting. Brian’s focus as an instructor at the BBAC is on drawing and painting.
